Q: I am not a student at Cal State Long Beach, but I am majoring in Health Care Administration. Can I join CSULB UPD?

A: Unfortunately, CSULB UPD is only for CSULB students. The only exceptions are for honorary members; they do not need to be matriculated HCA students at CSULB and are nominated by the UPD Executive Board & members.

Q: Is there a fee for joining CSULB UPD?

A: The fee for joining CSULB UPD is a payment of $15.00 per semester. A package deal is available at $20.00 to purchase membership in both our sister organization, the Health Care Administration Student Forum (HCASF) and CSULB UPD. Membership fees are used to pay annual organizational fees to AUPHA and for funding UPD events and activities.
